Positive: Our stay at Scalma Villas was nothing short of extraordinary. The villa itself is brand new, featuring a sleek, modern architectural design built with top-tier materials, tiles, cabinets, and countertops—it even still has that wonderful "new house scent." The smart home technology made it effortless to adjust the ambient lighting and automated blinds throughout the house. Our 2-bedroom unit was immaculately clean, featuring flat-screen TVs with Netflix in every room, a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, stove, and coffee maker), a washing machine, hair dryers, and plenty of fresh sheets, blankets, and towels. The layout in each of the two bedrooms includes a separate half-bath alongside a massive, relaxing walk-in shower room that truly felt like a luxury spa experience. We also loved having private, remote-controlled gated parking right on the property, complete with an electric vehicle (EV) charging station. The outdoor space is absolute paradise. You open the back yard gate, and you are literally right on the beach, where private umbrellas and sunbeds are set up waiting for you. The private swimming pool, gorgeous outdoor ambient lighting, comfortable patio furniture, and an outdoor refrigerator stocked with cold water made spending days outside a breeze. They’ve thought of every detail, including outdoor showers to rinse off sand from the ocean before jumping into the pool. The view from the back of the villa is completely majestic, with an uninterrupted panorama of the sea and surrounding mountains, along with the magical sight of night lights reflecting off the water. What truly elevated our stay from great to world-class was the property manager, George Stamatis. His personalized service is unmatched. He was waiting for us the moment we arrived to hand over the keys, give us a full tour, and show us how to use the smart home system.
Negative: George Stamatis went above and beyond by personally driving me to the local grocery store to help me shop for everything we needed for our stay. He also took me to a local restaurant, introduced me directly to the owner to ensure we received top-notch food and service, and provided menus for local pizza and food delivery right to the villa. He was regularly on site discreetly maintaining the property and cleaning the pool, and was always instantly reachable via cell phone or Viber. Every four days, a professional cleaning team came in to refresh the entire villa with crisp new sheets and towels. The location is ideal—peaceful and right on the water, yet conveniently close to all the best attractions, dining, and sights the area has to offer. We even had the pleasure of meeting the lovely family staying on the other side of the villa, and we ended up becoming great friends during our stay! If you are looking for a state-of-the-art, luxury beachfront getaway with five-star hospitality, look no further than Scalma Villas. We cannot wait to return!
